PURPLE BEAUTY ORGANIC BLACK TEA

This organic black tea hails from Wa Mountain in Southwestern Yunnan Province. The area is known for rolling hills thickly covered in lush tropical rainforest. Purple Beauty is made from prized tea plants that produce higher than normal levels of a purple pigment known as anthocyanin. The clouds and mist that shroud the tea garden slow the growth of the tea plants which causes them to develop abundant amounts of the amino acid, L-Theanine along with many other healthful nutrients. The tea steeps up a beautiful red-amber color and features notes of menthol amongst a symphony of tree fruit flavors, almost fruit-compote in nature.
