BANCHA ORGANIC GREEN TEA

Bancha is the everyday drinking tea of Japan. Found in most households, it's the tea you would turn to for comfort or nostalgia. Bancha is made from the larger leaves lower on the plant, which harbor a little bit more tannin and robustness. It also comes from the later harvests of the tea bushes, when the tea has had more time to grow fuller. Our organic-quality bancha is harvested a bit earlier than your typical bancha, and infuses a bold and altogether refreshing spirit, with notes of mustard greens, broth, and fresh-broken twigs. Its grassy bouquet is enhanced by a pale yellow-golden green hue.
